Berkeley Commercial purchased Chelsea Harbour in March 2000 in a joint venture with Chelsfield plc, Compco Holdings plc and Mansford Holdings plc. During the period held, the company significantly improved the management systems, debt recovery and annual rent roll. In April 2001, Berkeley Commercial sold its interest to the remaining partners.
St Lawrence House, Bristol
A twelve storey office building in the heart of Bristol's legal district. Berkeley Commercial significantly improved the investment through refurbishment and re-letting of vacant space. The property was then sold.
Swinton Shopping Centre, Swinton
This 200,000 sq ft scheme was purchased in a joint venture in 1998 and has since benefited from considerable refurbishment and asset management, which has improved the environment and performance of the asset.
Viewpoint, Basingstoke
This income producing office investment was purchased in 1998, following years of neglect. Subsequently, planning consent was obtained to provide 130,000 sq ft of new offices. The building was sold to a serviced office provider.
